How does the business model work?

The shareholders financed the development of the neutral data exchange platform agrirouter. In order to keep the user fees low, the shareholders will financially support the operation of agrirouter during the start-up phase.

As a non-profit company, DKE-Data charges its partners (software and hardware providers) a flat annual fee per agrirouter user. This flat rate fee is valid for 365 days and depends on the capabilities of an agricultural software or telemetry connection.

The billing of the agrirouter fees to the end customer is thus carried out by the DKE-Data partners.

For the data transport between the machine and agrirouter, additional mobile phone charges are incurred.
