agrirouter connect 2018

The agrirouter connect 2018 event on 17 and 18 October at the Kiekeberg Open Air Museum near Hamburg was a complete success. For the first time, the agrirouter was able to demonstrate in a realistic environment how easy it is to send and receive data between machines, implements and software (apps) from different manufacturers using this data exchange platform and then process it, for example, in a farm management information system (FMIS).

The agricultural equipment manufacturers represented in the agrirouter consortium provided machines and implements for this purpose. In addition, there were software and hardware manufacturers who also demonstrated how agrirouter use works. More than 300 participants from 14 countries, including many representatives of the trade press, were convinced of this.

Current comments from event guests and initial press response show the consistently positive opinion of the event and above all of the agrirouter as a manufacturer-independent and thus non-discriminatory data exchange platform that is also easy to use.
